bluePrint is a fast, powerful and extensible template processing system developed in Mod PERL. It is ideally suited to the production and maintenance of online e-learning content and other dynamic document systems. It allows for rapid courseware development from XML content through to delivery of final web based content by the Template Toolkit Parser.
The Template Toolkit also has a multi layering feature which makes it possible to reuse developed courses, thus enabling the re-branding of generic courses. Many other templating systems require the user to save a different version of the course, therefore duplicating templates. Using Template Toolkit, elements are only ever changed in one place cutting down on testing and maintenance time.
