Sales Consultant

Following a successful period of growth we now seek an enthusiastic sales consultant to help fully capitalise on the exciting opportunities before the company.

The company specialises in the production of bespoke e-learning for the corporate and public sectors in the UK. The role will include customer relationship management of existing accounts, plus widening the account base, generating appointments, attending customer meetings and working closely with other sales and development staff.

An experienced sales professional, you will be honest and hardworking with a practical hands-on approach to all aspects of the sales cycle. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of sales success in UK blue chip organisations or the public sector. Results oriented, you will thrive in a friendly and professional environment, where your intellect and ability will be called upon to influence the whole company’s sales and marketing strategy.

Key areas of responsibility

Lead generation - identifying opportunities from the European Journal and other trade and industry sources, cold calling, follow up phone calls from marketing activities (direct mail, exhibitions etc.)

    • Setting up and attending meetings with potential customers.
    • Managing existing and new customers - these are likely to be large, complex organisations with multiple divisions. Ensuring we exploit all e-learning opportunities (and where possible cross-selling and up-selling) within existing customer organisations.
    • Working with BGF Directors to exceed sales targets, to grow market intelligence and to raise the profile of blueU in the market place.

Remuneration will be a mixed package of basic salary, sales commission and share options.
